Onyx’s dual pore structure (2μm macropore and 130A mesopore) makes it in an ideal column for simply diluting dirty, complex samples and injecting them directly onto the column.  The large 2μm through-pores have less potential for sample clogging (vs. particle-based columns) by contaminants in the matrix.
